Howdy everyone. Just a heads up that as of this week BCB is back into the swing of things for the new year. 2012 looks to be an exciting year for the Burn City Burn family with Chasing Ghosts playing Parachute Festival in New Zealand, Sparrows recording their debut EP and our very own Scotte Woods trying his hand at topless waitressing.

Sparrows have been a curious beast; playing countless numbers of shows at well known venues such as Hot Damn, The Cambridge, The Zoo and Sando and are building a strong fanbase online (304 "likes" on Facebook at the time of writing), all without a single release featuring their finalised line-up anywhere to be found.
Luckily, in 2012, that's about to change with the release of the much anticipated Sparrows debut: "Le Heat". The EP, which will be released on vinyl and USB, is nearing completion in the studio and is planned to reach the excited hands of Sparrows fans some time in early 2012.
To hold you over until it's release next year (and perhaps to provide something to look at on cold, lonely nights), here's the cover design for the EP which will be printed on the front of 7" vinyl sleeves:

Parachute Festival is the Southern Hemisphere's largest Christian music festival with an annual turn-out of around 25,000 people and we're stoked to announce Chasing Ghosts' selection to play the festival.
Further information will be released closer to the date, including stage info and performance times.
Chasing Ghosts released his debut album "Confessions From A Phonebooth" earlier this year and has been met with an amazing response and earned himself a dedicated fan base packing out shows across Australia.
With his album in stores and the announcement of his selection for Parachute, 2012 looks to be a promising year for the folk/acoustic act.
